About the Lab
The Rana Lab studies the fundamental mechanisms of RNA Biology and Chemistry to uncover disease pathogenesis and translate new discoveries into innovative therapies. We are located in the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, La Jolla, California. The lab is also associated with the Division of Genetics, Department of Pediatrics, Institute for Genomic Medicine, Bioinformatics and Systems Biology, Program in Immunology, Moores Cancer Center, Center for Drug Discovery Innovation, and the Biomedical Sciences Program of UC San Diego.
